A Short Description
I am a Network Engineer @ Legian B.V.
I am a hardworking person which is always eager to learn better and more efficient ways to perform my work. I always try to find and implement the best solution for the problem at hand and like to work in teams to spar and debate until the perfect solution is found and then implement that solution.
I am currently a Network Engineer for Legian, busy with adding more experience to my resume and always studying for the next certificate to learn more about the field I try to specialise in.
In my spare time I like be creative, writing stories and game scripts and try to build a game as a side-project. I regularly go exercising with my girlfriend and we enjoy walks through nature for the fresh air and to practise our photography. Aside from that I can always enjoy a new game, movie or series to relax after work or have a drink in a café in the city I live in. Since the Corona crisis cooking also became a big hobby for me, because with all the working from home I now actually have the time and energy to spend over an hour on dinner.

Fujitsu in De MeernAt Fujitsu I work in a team where I lead or execute projects on my own or with other members of my team for clients of Fujitsu. Projects mainly concern migrations on or improvements of network infrastructures of clients which Fujitsu maintains. Aside from that I also execute DevOps assignments and projects such as improving and expanding the use of automation at Fujitsu.

Maasstad Hospital in RotterdamThe Maasstad Hospital currently has a lot of active projects that increase the workload to a point that they need more people to assist with the projects but also the day to day activities. I assist with a variety of tasks, for example with: Creating and testing new server or network environments, plan and execute upgrade projects, datacenter maintenance, troubleshooting incidents on their network. Especially during the Corona Crisis it is a very interesting place to assist with any and all service the IT deparment has to provide to the hospital. The hardware I work with is mainly HP Aruba.

Royal Vopak N.V.At Vopak I helped with improving their monitoring and other network supporting applications trough refinement of the settings and automation. Day to day activities also included upgrade procedures for Cisco Switches and Fortigate Firewalls and troubleshooting incidents on their global network.
